Plot:
Parandhaman (Sivaji Ganesan) is a womanizer. A dumb girl (Muthulakshmi) married to the much older Punyakodi (Thangavelu) and Parandhaman seduces the dumb girl in the absence of her husband and continues this act with other women too. Poomalai (Pandari Bai) is Parandhaman's sister. When she comes to know about the ill nature of her own brother she decides to cut her off from him. What happens then forms the crux of the story.
