This reminds me of the movie with Richard Denning, the day the earth ended it was in black and white. Same story.
Yettastarr Chancy yea it does remind you of that movie……
The Day the World Ended, yep, that is it actually. A good movie and one of the earliest prepper movies if I am not mistaken.
This film must have cost $78 to make… and $50 was on the Geiger Counter
In the year twenty eight eighty nine, if man is still alive
They’ll be spouting unscientific jive,
into a swimming pool they’ll dive
Waiting for the plot to arrive….
In the year twenty nine comma eleven
It’ll strangely still look like nineteen sixty seven
The amount of years in the title will be significantly leavened
Mutants dissolve in the rain and go to heaven.
very good ….
In the year 2525 these movies will be considered jive. In ten thousand years, these movies will evoke tears and require many beers!!! Etc, etc., etc…
lol….I’m passing on this movie. But very hard for me to find a good sci fi.
I remember this as a kid
I feel there’s someone watching us! LMAO! Yeah! We are!
I taped this movie off TV-Thank You for showing us this movie ?I Love it ?I also have the Black & White one? Thumbs up ?? ??
I’ll be the Captain and you can be the Engineer!
Nothing has changed. Women cannot make tough decisions.
Men can make wrong decisions.
I seen the original of this one
Same script for both movies.
Let me just whip this out! My diorama here shows just how we survived.
Our friend, the Roentgen.
I happen to enjoy roentgenology.
Not a good friend. Not a bad one.
As soon as young handsome “Steve” shows up at the door finance “Larry” is history. HA!!
Hypergamy! All females are the same, as soon as a Chad shows up, so does their legs!
“Finance?”
Actually not too bad a movie. Sure—the “monster” is a guy in a $2 rubber mask. But it has some good performances (especially by Billy Thurman, as the “old coot” Tim). And some interesting concepts (surviving a nuclear holocaust, radiation-induced ESP).
So You Finally did it, You murderers You Blew it up!!!
Here hold my beer=look at what I can do. 😛
The survivors were so fortunate that their natural valley-spring came with a naturally occurring concrete edge and diving-board!
I love this movie. Hokey beyond belief, but that’s part of it’s charm. I also love Panic in the Year Zero.
Panic in Year Zero is Kubrick level cinematography compare to this fish-bait.
AS AN AUDIOBOOK PRODUCER ALSO WITH JULES VERNE (LeLivreAudio on facebook) I CAN SAY THAT THIS FILM HAS NOTHING TO SEE WITH THE ORIGINAL WORK OF JULES VERNE
Thats what I was thinking. Wheres the futuristic things. By then i would imagine people dont worry about nukes
Yes, in this case ‘rien a voir’ doesn’t translate literally into English as ‘nothing to see’. ‘Nothing to do’ would be better
You are correct, sir.
To do.
AIT Trademark of stock footage, plenty of walking and poor films. On a positive note MST3K would never have existing if not for AIP.
So this is basically an uncredited remake of Panic In The Year Zero
Realistic wild life sounds “not impressed”
