Hilarious movie. Great cast. I am seeing it for the second time. I like Mr topper and his wife most along with the sweet friendly ghost. I later became acquainted with her name, Joan Blondell. She was really very good at such kind of comedy. I have seen her many films with Melvyn Douglas which were extremely hilarious.
These movies make me feel warm and cosy..love watching them chilling in the dark..boyfriend or no boyfriend lol

Magnificent Actors, sets, script, costumes, photography just magnificent in all aspects. Movies that were special we will never see or have such charm in the films currently seen today.

Blondell was never really one of the top stars in Hollywood but was among the best. Her best film. Funny to learn Roland Young was something of a ladies man! On the sad side, tragic Carole Landis committed suicide not long after this when Rex Harrison refused to leave his wife for her.
That’s such a waste. I can see maybe if it was someone who had a hard time ever finding partners. But not someone like her, when so many other fish, or sharks, are out there.
@Graham Mckenzie Rex was a sleaze & an idiot!!!! The way she died & how Rex waited so long to report it seems quite suspect to me. In my opinion, it eems eerily similar to the way Dorothy Kilgallen died.
